The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy

The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy contains articles on a variety of philosophical topics. It is a highly regarded academic resource. Many of the articles are pitched at a high level – and most secondary students would find it difficult to engage with full entries. Teachers might use these articles to familiarise themselves with areas of Philosophy, or to search for extracts to present to students. It should be noted that the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy is less accessible than the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy.
