Introducing Plato is part of a series which includes books on all sorts of philosophical and other topics. The whole series is graphic non-fiction, so it is meant to resemble a comic strip. It is one of those books that presents some ideas very simply so young readers could understand them, but other ideas are a lot more difficult and would usually be picked up only by older students or adults. The coverage of Plato is very comprehensive and it explains his main idea, the theory of forms, quite well. The pictures and cartoon dialogues are helpful in making the concepts easier to understand than if they were simply in a textbook.
