This website aims to provide a guide to philosophy resources that could be useful to teachers and students of secondary school philosophy. It identifies, describes and reviews books, websites, articles, video clips and more.
It has been compiled by graduate students in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and was funded by the Edwin Frederick Woods Bequest. Mr Woods bequeathed a sum of money to promote philosophy in secondary schools, and this is just one of the fruits of his generosity.
Resources can be found using a variety of search terms, including philosophical topic, philosopher, school age, and related school subject. These search terms can be combined, and all materials have been cross indexed. There is also a standard search function.
This website is necessarily incomplete, and it is hoped that others will contribute to the growth of this guide to resources. To make a posting about a resource that you would like to recommend or review then click on the ‘submit content’ link at the top of the page. You can submit your post that will go for approval before appearing on our site.
